Türkçe Konseyi tarafından düzenlenen "Türkçe Öğretim Merkezlerinde Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Çalıştayı", 8-9 Haziran tarihlerinde çevrim içi olarak gerçekleştirildi. Türkçe Konseyi üyesi üniversitelerin TÖMER ve dil merkezi yöneticilerinin katılım sağladığı çalıştayda, Türkçe öğretiminde ölçme ve değerlendirme süreçlerine ilişkin güncel yaklaşımlar ve uygulamalar ele alındı.
Çalıştay kapsamında gerçekleştirilen ilk oturumda "Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretiminde Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Uygulamaları" konusu değerlendirildi. İkinci oturumda "Türkçe Öğretim Merkezlerinde Sınav Hazırlama ve Uygulama Süreçleri" başlığı altında sınavların planlanması ve uygulanmasına yönelik süreçler ele alındı. Üçüncü oturumda "Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretiminde Yapay Zekâ Destekli Madde Yazımı ve Değerlendirme" konusu uzmanlar tarafından katılımcılarla paylaşılırken, dördüncü ve son oturumda "Türkçe Öğretim Merkezlerinde Akreditasyon Bağlamında Ölçme ve Değerlendirme" başlığı çerçevesinde kalite güvencesi ve akreditasyon süreçleri değerlendirildi.
Türkçe Konseyi Yönetim Kurulu üyeleri ile alanında uzman akademisyenlerin katkı sunduğu çalıştaya, Merkezimiz öğretim elemanlarından Öğr. Gör. Dr. Elifnur Yıldız Yalçındağ ve Öğr. Gör. Vasfiye Ayça Kuşçu da katılım sağlayarak oturumları takip etti.
Çalıştay süresince, yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde ölçme ve değerlendirme uygulamalarının geliştirilmesine yönelik görüş alışverişinde bulunuldu; dil öğretim süreçlerinin daha nitelikli ve sürdürülebilir bir yapıya kavuşturulmasına ilişkin öneriler paylaşıldı.
The ‘Workshop on Assessment and Evaluation in Turkish Language Teaching Centres’, organised by the Turkish Language Council, was held online on 8–9 June. The workshop, attended by directors of TÖMER and language centres from universities that are members of the Turkish Language Council, addressed current approaches and practices regarding assessment and evaluation processes in Turkish language teaching.
During the first session of the workshop, the topic of ‘Assessment and Evaluation Practices in Turkish Language Teaching for Foreigners’ was discussed. The second session, under the heading ‘Exam Preparation and Implementation Processes in Turkish Language Teaching Centres’, addressed the processes involved in planning and administering exams. In the third session, the topic of ‘AI-Supported Item Development and Assessment in Turkish Language Teaching for Foreigners’ was shared with participants by experts, whilst in the fourth and final session, quality assurance and accreditation processes were evaluated under the heading ‘Assessment and Evaluation in the Context of Accreditation at Turkish Language Teaching Centres’.
The workshop, which featured contributions from members of the Turkish Language Council’s Executive Board and academic experts in the field, was also attended by our Centre’s academic staff, Lecturer Dr Elifnur Yıldız Yalçındağ and Lecturer Vasfiye Ayça Kuşçu, who followed the sessions.
During the workshop, participants exchanged views on the development of assessment and evaluation practices in the teaching of Turkish to non-native speakers; suggestions were shared on how to make language teaching processes more effective and sustainable.
