Ali Tolu, 13 Temmuz 2026 tarihinde gerçekleştirilen 2. Yükseköğretim Kurumları Türkçe Öğretim Merkezleri Yöneticileri ve Alan Uzmanları Çalıştayı’na katıldı.
Türkçe öğretiminin kurumsal geleceği, kalite standartları ve akademik çerçevesinin ele alındığı çalıştayda; Kurumsal Yapı ve Yönetim, Program Tasarımı ve Akademik Çerçeve, Öğretim Elemanları ve Öğrenci Destek Hizmetleri, Ölçme ve Değerlendirme, Öğretim Ortamı ve Kaynakları, Sürekli İyileştirme ve Kalite Güvencesi başlıkları kapsamında kapsamlı değerlendirmeler yapıldı.
Çalıştayda ayrıca Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinin internet sitelerinin güncel ve kullanıcı dostu hâle getirilmesi, yerel yönetimlerle iş birliklerinin geliştirilmesi, merkezlerin mali ve kurumsal yapılarının güçlendirilmesi, personel ve kadro ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması, kurul ve komisyonların etkin biçimde yapılandırılması, akreditasyon süreçlerinde asgari personel ve uzmanlık ölçütlerinin belirlenmesi ile özel amaçlı Türkçe kurslarının hedef kitle ve amaçlarına uygun biçimde adlandırılması konuları ele alındı.
Çalıştay, yükseköğretim kurumlarında Türkçe öğretiminin niteliğinin artırılması ve Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinin daha güçlü, sürdürülebilir ve kalite odaklı bir yapıya kavuşturulmasına yönelik değerlendirmelerle tamamlandı.

Prof. Dr Hüseyin Şevket Çağatay Çapraz, together with lecturers Ayça Kuşçu and Ali Tolu, attended the 2nd Workshop for Managers and Subject Specialists of Turkish Language Teaching Centres at Higher Education Institutions, held on 13 July 2026.
The workshop, which addressed the institutional future of Turkish language teaching, quality standards and the academic framework, featured comprehensive evaluations under the following headings: Institutional Structure and Management; Programme Design and Academic Framework; Teaching Staff and Student Support Services; Assessment and Evaluation; Teaching Environment and Resources; and Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance.
The workshop also addressed the need to ensure that the websites of Turkish language teaching centres are up-to-date and user-friendly, to develop partnerships with local authorities, to strengthen the financial and institutional structures of the centres, to meet staffing and personnel requirements, to effectively organise boards and committees, establishing minimum staffing and expertise criteria for accreditation processes, and ensuring that specialised Turkish language courses are named in a manner appropriate to their target audience and objectives.
The workshop concluded with assessments aimed at enhancing the quality of Turkish language teaching in higher education institutions and establishing a stronger, more sustainable and quality-focused structure for Turkish language teaching centres.
